    From reading some of the negative reviews, I would say that the staff has taken into account the feedback and improved accordingly! Staff were attentive and bright, and the food came out quickly. Exactly what you would expect from a hole in the "strip mall" Newport Beach sushi joint. High quality, fresh sushi with all of the non-traditional rolls you would expect.

    Favorite was the Pink Lady (spicy tuna, crispy rice) and the Bluefin Toro nigiri! Would come back for casual sushi dinner :)

    Living in the area I've been here dozens of times. To sum it up: bad service + good food = not worth the price

    The servers here could care less about you. They don't want to be there and it couldn't be more obvious.

    The food is good if you know what to order, but not for the price.

    Tip: don't go here if you're in a hurry, it takes a while. We've eaten here when we were the only ones in the restaurant and it still took a while.

    This was the Best Sushi I have had so far.
    The place is plesent and clean and the service was great. The presentation of the food was amazing. I will be recommending this place to anyone that loves sushi

    Fantastic sashimi and sushi I have had! They even serve fresh wasabi. The presentation and sauces will blow your mind. Fantastic service and nice relaxing atmosphere.

    I've eaten here a few times in the past. They have reasonable prices and lunch specials. The service was friendly but rather slow today. The food was okay but wasn't as good as I remembered. I don't have anything negative to say but it didn't stand out as a special place that I would want to go out of my way to visit.
